In the Mitsubishi AYC / ACD system, the pressure accumulator serves a crucial role. It stores hydraulic pressure generated by the system’s pump, maintaining a reserve of pressure for rapid response during cornering or other dynamic driving situations. This stored pressure is crucial for the system to quickly adjust the distribution of torque between the wheels, enhancing stability and agility. A faulty accumulator can manifest in various ways. One common symptom is a loss of responsiveness or sluggishness in the AYC / ACD system’s operation. This might result in delayed or uneven torque distribution, leading to compromised handling and stability, especially during aggressive maneuvers or when navigating tight corners. Additionally, you may observe warning lights or messages on the dashboard indicating a problem with the AYC / ACD system.
Pressure Sensor – Mitsubishi Evo X Twin Clutch SST
This sensor is used in the Twin Clutch SST transmission to measure hydraulic pressure at the clutches; two are installed per gearbox. It sends real-time pressure data to the transmission control unit to ensure smooth gear shifts and optimal clutch operation. If the sensor is faulty, symptoms may include harsh or delayed shifting, gear slipping, warning lights, stored fault codes, or activation of limp mode.

We offer a new pressure sensor. The pressure sensor measures the hydraulic pressure in the accumulator. A defective sensor can cause the pump to stop running or even run constantly.
Each sensor is tested by the manufacturer on the test bench.

Shift Fork Piston Kit – Mitsubishi Evo X Twin Clutch SST
These shift fork pistons are part of the hydraulic control system in the Mitsubishi Twin Clutch SST transmission. Worn or damaged pistons and seals can lead to pressure loss, resulting in harsh shifting, stuck gears, or the transmission entering limp mode. Transmission Speed Sensor – Mitsubishi Evo X Twin Clutch SST
This sensor provides the speed signal of the transmission input shaft. The speed signal is required by the control unit to control the transmission system, adjusting properly the shaft speeds before engaging and disengaging the different gears.
