Clutch Solenoid Valve – Nissan GT-R GR6
Two clutch solenoid valves are used in the GR6 dual-clutch transmission, one for each clutch circuit. They control the hydraulic pressure required to engage and disengage the clutches, ensuring smooth and precise shifting. A defective valve can cause symptoms such as rough gear changes, delayed engagement, clutch slippage, or loss of drive in one gear set. Line Pressure & Lubricating Flow Valve – Nissan GT-R GR6
Two valves of this type are installed in the front control module of the Nissan GT-R GR6 transmission. One valve controls line pressure, while the second valve regulates lubricating flow within the hydraulic system. Together, they are essential for stable hydraulic control, proper lubrication, and consistent shift quality. If one of these valves fails, it can cause pressure irregularities, poor shifting, warning messages, or transmission limp mode.
Pressure Sensor – Nissan GT-R GR6
The GR6 dual-clutch transmission in the Nissan GT-R R35 uses a total of three pressure sensors: two for clutch pressure and one for system or line pressure. Depending on function, they are installed in the front control module or the actuator control module and are used to monitor hydraulic pressure within the transmission. A faulty sensor may cause shifting issues, warning messages, limp mode, and fault codes P0840, P0845, P0872, or P0873. The sensors are ready to install and do not require scaling.
