Filter – Suzuki Vitara SX4 TCSS
The filter is located in front of the hydraulic pump’s fluid inlet and is responsible for removing contaminants from the hydraulic system, as these could otherwise cause damage to the various components. If the filter becomes clogged, the pump’s suction performance decreases, and the system may build pressure more slowly or not at all. This is a brand new, original Magneti Marelli spare part.
Gear Position & Clutch Speed Sensor Module – Suzuki Vitara SX4 TCSS
The integrated sensor module monitors gear engagement positions and clutch rotational speeds in the Suzuki TCSS dual-clutch transmission. It incorporates four magnetoresistive position sensors to detect the engagement of the six forward gears and reverse gear, as well as two speed sensors monitoring the rotational speeds of clutches K1 and K2. The module also carries the temperature signal from the hydraulic actuator assembly to the transmission control unit. Faulty sensors can cause incorrect gear position readings, shifting problems, transmission error messages or emergency operating mode.

Hydraulic Actuation Module – Suzuki Vitara SX4 TCSS
The hydraulic actuation module controls clutch operation, gear selection and gear engagement in the Suzuki TCSS dual-clutch transmission. It contains six proportional solenoid valves that regulate hydraulic pressure and oil flow for the two clutches and the gear shifting mechanisms. Integrated pressure and position sensors monitor hydraulic pressure and actuator movements, allowing the transmission control unit to precisely manage clutch engagement and gear changes. A defective module can cause shifting problems, clutch engagement failures, transmission error messages or emergency operating mode.

Odd Gear Clutch Slave Cylinder – Suzuki Vitara SX4 TCSS
The odd gear clutch slave cylinder (CSC) hydraulically operates the clutch responsible for the odd gears in the 6-speed TCSS dual-clutch transmission. Hydraulic pressure moves an internal piston, which actuates the clutch release bearing through a push rod running inside the transmission shafts. An integrated Hall effect sensor monitors the piston position, allowing the transmission control unit to precisely control clutch engagement and disengagement. A defective slave cylinder can cause clutch engagement problems, gear shifting faults or transmission error messages.

Pressure Accumulator – Suzuki Vitara SX4 TCSS
The accumulator is responsible to store the pressure of the hydraulic system for later access by the actuators. The diaphragm type accumulator has two cells: one cell storing the hydraulic fluid and one cell containing a gas to create counterpressure. Both cells are separated by a membrane. These accumulators have a certain life span and a common defect is that the gas leaks out of the cell, which causes the system to be unable to build up hydraulic pressure. In many of such cases, the pump appears to prime permanently.

Pressure Sensor – Suzuki Vitara SX4 TCSS
The pressure sensors monitor the hydraulic pressure in the TCSS transmission. They play a crucial role in ensuring smooth gear shifts and optimal clutch engagement. Two of these sensors are installed on the TCSS unit. This is an original and brandnew spare part.

The pump supplies the hydraulic pressure for the different consumers (actuators) of the Suzuki TCSS system and stores it in the pressure accumulator. The pump consists of a small gear pump and an electric motor. If the pump motor fails, the TCSS cannot perform clutch operations or gear changes due to the lack of pressure.
