This centering tool is used to align the gearshift lever on the Ferrari 360 and F430 F1 gearbox actuator, ensuring the lever is correctly centered during reassembly. The tool is fitted to the actuator to define a reference position while the solenoid valves are commanded on via diagnostic software and the lever clamp screw on the control rod is tightened. This provides a repeatable lever setting and supports the subsequent gearbox self-learning/calibration.
