Sub-Transmission Safety Valve – Audi R8 S-tronic

Two safety solenoid valves are installed in the Audi R8 S-tronic, one for each gear train subset. N436 controls the hydraulic pressure supply to clutch K1 and the associated gear-shift actuators, while N440 performs the same safety function for clutch K2 and its gear-shift actuators; in the event of a relevant fault, the respective gear train subset can be hydraulically deactivated. We supply a brand-new original BorgWarner replacement part, identical to the component installed by Audi at the factory.
