We offer the overhaul of the Alfa Romeo GTA Selespeed shift actuator. As part of the repair, the actuator will be fitted with seals manufactured by a specialized company from Germany. They are perfectly meeting the requirements of the hydraulic fluid and are suitable for the extreme conditions in the Selespeed system.
The shift actuator (gear shifter) is responsible for selecting and engaging the gears of the gearbox. Similar to the clutch actuator, the shift actuator can also develop leaks. However, in the case of the shift actuator, the leak will not be visible from the outside, as the hydraulic oil leaks directly into the gearbox and disperses in the gearbox oil. As a consequence of the leaking shift actuator, the Selespeed may refuse to engage one or more gears.
