Clutch Kit – Dodge MPS6 DCT
The dual clutch unit is the main weakness of the Dodge DCT transmission MPS6. Typical failure causes include broken torsion springs and brittle, disintegrating plastic components (retainers) within the damper system. The resulting particles can enter the transmission fluid and cause secondary damage to the mechatronic unit.
We sell a brand-new, original BorgWarner replacement part – the same part that is factory-installed in the transmission and distributed directly by Dodge. This part is suitable for diesel engines. Please refer to the list of OE reference numbers to verify compatibility.
Oil Filter – Dodge MPS6 DCT
The filter removes contaminants from the transmission oil. Since the transmission uses the same oil circuit for lubricating the gears, the clutches, and also the mechatronics, the level of contamination is significantly higher in this case. Regular filter replacement is therefore very important, as contamination in the oil can quickly clog or damage sensitive components of the mechatronics. Our set includes the filter, a sealing ring, and the filter housing.
Pressure Sensor – Dodge MPS6 DCT
This sensor is used in the MPS6 DCT transmission to measure hydraulic pressure at the clutches; two are installed per gearbox. It sends real-time pressure data to the transmission control unit to ensure smooth gear shifts and optimal clutch operation. If the sensor is faulty, symptoms may include harsh or delayed shifting, gear slipping, warning lights, stored fault codes, or activation of limp mode.
Shift Fork Piston Kit – Dodge MPS6 DCT
These shift fork pistons are part of the hydraulic control system in the MPS6 DCT transmission. They actuate the shift forks, allowing precise gear engagement under hydraulic pressure. Worn or damaged pistons and seals can lead to pressure loss, resulting in harsh shifting, stuck gears, or the transmission entering limp mode. Replacing them with a new kit restores proper hydraulic function and reliable gear changes.
Solenoid Valve Kit – Dodge MPS6 DCT
This set includes all new solenoid valves of the transmission as brand-new, original spare parts. It is ideally suited as a repair solution in cases where it is not clear which solenoid valve is causing the problem, or as a component of a complete transmission overhaul.
Transmission Speed Sensor – Dodge MPS6 DCT
This sensor provides the speed signal of the transmission input shaft. The speed signal is required by the control unit to control the transmission system, adjusting properly the shaft speeds before engaging and disengaging the different gears.
