Gear Position & Clutch Speed Sensor Module – Jeep Renegade Compass DDCT / DCT

The integrated sensor module monitors gear engagement positions and clutch rotational speeds in the Jeep DDCT dual-clutch transmission. It incorporates four magnetoresistive position sensors to detect the engagement of the six forward gears and reverse gear, as well as two speed sensors monitoring the rotational speeds of clutches K1 and K2. The module also carries the temperature signal from the hydraulic actuator assembly to the transmission control unit. Faulty sensors can cause incorrect gear position readings, shifting problems, transmission error messages or emergency operating mode.
