Hydraulic Lines – Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select
This is a complete set of brand-new hydraulic lines for the Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select transmission. Including lines for EV1, EV2, EV3, EV4, EV5 and EVF.
All lines are made in Germany and come with a black protection coating.
PPV Solenoid Valve – Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select
The valve block / power unit of the Alfa Romeo Q-Select system contains 6 solenoid valves.
- EVF (QPV) – clutch engagement
- EV1 (PPV) – gear engagement
- EV2 (PPV) – gear engagement
- EV3 (QPV) – gear selection
- EV4 (QPV) – gear selection
- EV5 (QPV) – gear selection

Pressure Accumulator – Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select
Our refurbished pressure accumulators are equipped with a filling valve and freshly filled with nitrogen gas.
The accumulator is responsible to store the pressure of the hydraulic system for later access by the actuators. The piston type accumulator has two cells: one cell storing the hydraulic fluid and one cell containing a gas to create counterpressure. Both cells are separated by a moving piston. A broken accumulator causes the pump to prime more often.

Pressure Relief Valve – Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select
The pressure relief valve is responsible to prevent damage to other components due to excess pressure in the hydraulic system. A defective valve would cause pressure loss and frequent pump cycles (similar symptoms as a worn pressure accumulator).
Pressure Sensor – Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select
The pressure sensor is responsible to detect the hydraulic pressure in the accumulator of the Q-Select system. This is an original and brandnew spare part.
Pump Motor – Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select
The pump motor drives the gear pump, which generates the pressure for the Q-Select transmission. Both parts together form the hydraulic pump. Without hydraulic pressure, the transmission cannot perform any action – neither change gears, nor operate the clutch. Therefore, the hydraulic pump is the most important component in the system.
In most cases, it is sufficient to replace only the electric motor, as this is a wearing part. The gear pump fails only very rarely. Another advantage is that when only the pump motor is changed, the hydraulic system does not need to be bled afterwards, unless it has been opened.

Pump Relay – Alfa Romeo 8C Q-Select
The pump relay is responsible to switch on / off the hydraulic pump. A broken relay causes the pump to fail priming. Without hydraulic pressure, the system cannot engage the gears or clutch.

The valve block / power unit of the Alfa Romeo Q-Select system contains 6 solenoid valves.
