Clutch Valve – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
The clutch solenoid valve (marked with “QPV”) is responsible for the clutch actuation of the Sportshift system. A faulty valve can cause problems while engaging the clutch (for example shuttering) and in consequence the car refuses to change gears.
This is an original and new Magneti Marelli spare part. The part fits all Aston Martin Sportshift systems (I, II and III).
Pressure Accumulator – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
Our refurbished pressure accumulators are equipped with a filling valve and freshly filled with nitrogen gas.
The accumulator is responsible to store the pressure of the hydraulic system for later access by the actuators. The piston type accumulator has two cells: one cell storing the hydraulic fluid and one cell containing a gas to create counterpressure. Both cells are separated by a moving piston. A broken accumulator causes the pump to prime more often.
The part fits all Aston Martin Sportshift systems (I, II and III).

Pressure Sensor – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
The pressure sensor is responsible to measure the hydraulic pressure in the accumulator of the Sportshift system. The part fits all Aston Martin Sportshift systems (I, II and III).
Pump Motor – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
The pump motor drives the gear pump, which generates the pressure for the Sportshift transmission. Both parts together form the hydraulic pump. Without hydraulic pressure, the transmission cannot perform any action – neither change gears, nor operate the clutch. Therefore, the hydraulic pump is the most important component in the system.
In most cases, it is sufficient to replace only the electric motor, as this is a wearing part. The gear pump fails only very rarely. Another advantage is that when only the pump motor is changed, the hydraulic system does not need to be bled afterwards, unless it has been opened.

Selection Valve – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
The selection solenoid valve (marked with “OOV”) is responsible to move the gear selector sideways to select the gear pairs. In the case of failure of this valve, the car will refuse to go into one or more gears.
This is an original and new Magneti Marelli spare part. The part fits all Aston Martin Sportshift systems (I, II and III).
Service Kit Hydraulic Pump – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
The service kit includes the plastic coupling, which connects the shaft of the gear pump with the shaft of the electric motor, as well as seals.
Shift Valve – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
The shift solenoid valves (marked with “PPV”) are responsible for changing the gears of the Sportshift system. There are two of these valves on the hydraulic unit. Together with the selection valve, they operate the shift actuator. If one of the valves is faulty, the car will refuse to go into one or more gears.
This is an original and new Magneti Marelli spare part. The part fits all Aston Martin Sportshift systems (I, II and III).
Transmission Speed Sensor – Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift
This sensor provides the speed signal of the transmission input shaft. The speed signal is required by the control unit to control the transmission system, adjusting properly the shaft speeds before engaging and disengaging the different gears.
Upgraded Reservoir Feed/Return Pipes – Aston Martin Vantage ASM Sportshift II & III
The fluid reservoir feed and return pipes are a common problem of the Sportshift transmission. The original rubber pipes become porous and finally break up, causing the system to lose hydraulic oil. Our pipes are made of a much better and more durable material. The set includes the two pipes and four clips.
