Accumulator – Renault Quickshift
The accumulator is responsible to store the pressure of the hydraulic system for later access by the actuators. The bladder type accumulator has two cells: one cell storing the hydraulic fluid and one cell containing a gas to create counterpressure. Both cells are separated by a membrane. These accumulators have a certain life span and a common defect is that the gas leaks out of the cell, which causes the system to be unable to build up hydraulic pressure. In many of such cases, the pump appears to prime permanently.

Clutch Master Cylinder Repair Kit – Renault Quickshift
The repair kit allows you to repair the clutch master cylinder of the Quickshift transmission. The function of the master cylinder is important for proper operation of the clutch.
Engagement Solenoid Valve – Renault Quickshift
The Engagement Solenoid Valves are responsible to engage the gears of the Quickshift system. In the case of failure of this valve, the car will refuse to go into one or more gears.
EV0 Clutch Solenoid Valve – Renault Quickshift
The EV0 solenoid valve is responsible for the clutch actuation of the Quickshift system. A faulty EV0 can cause problems while engaging the clutch (for example shuttering) and in consequence the car refuses to change gears.

Pressure Sensor – Renault Quickshift
The pressure sensor is responsible to detect the hydraulic pressure in the accumulator of the Quickshift system. This is an original and brandnew spare part.
Pump Motor – Renault Quickshift
The pump motor drives the gear pump, which generates the pressure for the Quickshift transmission. Both parts together form the hydraulic pump. Without hydraulic pressure, the transmission cannot perform any action – neither change gears, nor operate the clutch. Therefore, the hydraulic pump is the most important component in the system.
In most cases, it is sufficient to replace only the electric motor, as this is a wearing part. The gear pump fails only very rarely. Another advantage is that when only the pump motor is changed, the hydraulic system does not need to be bled afterwards, unless it has been opened.

Selection / Clutch Sensor – Renault Quickshift
The Quickshift selection and engagement position sensors (Potentiometers) are responsible to detect the current state of the gear engagement. The clutch sensor is responsible to detect the state of the clutch. There are three of these sensors installed on the Quickshift unit. A faulty sensor can prevent the car to engage gears or shift.

Transmission Speed Sensor – Renault Quickshift
This sensor provides the speed signal of the transmission input shaft. The speed signal is required by the control unit to control the transmission system, adjusting properly the shaft speeds before engaging and disengaging the different gears.
