Clutch Solenoid Valve – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
The clutch solenoid valve (marked with “QPV”) is responsible for the clutch actuation of the Sprintshift / Sequentronic system. A faulty valve can cause problems when operating the clutch (for example shuttering) and in consequence the vehicle may refuse to change gears.

Pressure Accumulator – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
Our refurbished pressure accumulators are equipped with a filling valve and freshly filled with nitrogen gas.
The accumulator is responsible to store the pressure of the hydraulic system for later access by the actuators. The piston type accumulator has two cells: one cell storing the hydraulic fluid and one cell containing a gas to create counterpressure. Both cells are separated by a moving piston. A broken accumulator causes the pump to prime more often.

Pressure Sensor – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
The pressure sensor is responsible to detect the hydraulic pressure in the accumulator of the Sprintshift / Sequentronic system. This is an original and brandnew spare part.
Pump Motor – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
The pump motor drives the gear pump, which generates the pressure for the Sprintshift / Sequentronic transmission. Both parts together form the hydraulic pump. Without hydraulic pressure, the transmission cannot perform any action – neither change gears, nor operate the clutch. Therefore, the hydraulic pump is the most important component in the system.
In most cases, it is sufficient to replace only the electric motor, as this is a wearing part. The gear pump fails only very rarely. Another advantage is that when only the pump motor is changed, the hydraulic system does not need to be bled afterwards, unless it has been opened.
We sell an original, brand new Magneti Marelli spare part – the same part you would get from Merceds Benz.
Pump Relay – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
The electromagnetic relay is responsible to turn on / off the hydraulic pump of the Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic system. A broken relay causes the pump to fail priming. Without hydraulic pressure, the system cannot engage the gears or clutch.
This is not an original part, but an OE part.
Selection Solenoid Valve – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
The selection solenoid valve (marked with “OOV”) is responsible to move the gear selector sideways to select the gear pairs. In the case of failure of this valve, the vehicle will refuse to go into one or more gears.

Shift Solenoid Valve – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
The shift solenoid valves (marked with “PPV”) are responsible for changing the gears of the Sprintshift / Sequentronic system. There are two of these valves on the hydraulic unit and together with the selection solenoid valve, they operate the shift actuator. If one of the valves is faulty, the car will refuse to go into one or more gears.

Transmission Speed Sensor – Mercedes Benz Sprintshift / Sequentronic
This sensor provides the speed signal of the transmission input shaft. The speed signal is required by the control unit to control the transmission system, adjusting properly the shaft speeds before engaging and disengaging the different gears.
