Pressure Sensor – Ford Powershift MPS6 6DCT450
This sensor is used in the MPS6 / 6DCT450 Powershift transmission to measure hydraulic pressure at the clutches; two are installed per gearbox. It sends real-time pressure data to the transmission control unit to ensure smooth gear shifts and optimal clutch operation. If the sensor is faulty, symptoms may include harsh or delayed shifting, gear slipping, warning lights, stored fault codes, or activation of limp mode.

Shift Fork Piston Kit – Ford Powershift MPS6 6DCT450
These shift fork pistons are part of the hydraulic control system in the MPS6 / 6DCT450 Powershift transmission. They actuate the shift forks, allowing precise gear engagement under hydraulic pressure. Worn or damaged pistons and seals can lead to pressure loss, resulting in harsh shifting, stuck gears, or the transmission entering limp mode. Replacing them with a new kit restores proper hydraulic function and reliable gear changes.
